Motorcycles - A technical History

Motorcycles – A Technical History was written by C F Caunter, and is a historical survey illustrated by the collection of motorcycles in the British Science Museum, published by Her Majesty’s Stationery Office in 1970.
From the Michaux-Perreaux Steam Motorcycle of 1869, you are led in chronological order to the gleaming giants of the late 1960s, with development histories and illustrations all the way, while notes on the social change in each period give added depth. This book, measuring approx. 5 ½”x8 ½”, has over 100 fascinating pages, lavishly illustrated with 76 photographs and diagrams, and is essential reading for every motorcycle enthusiast or historian!
