Scooters and Mopeds

Scooters and Mopeds was written by I. R. Hingston, and published by Iliffe Books Ltd in 1961.
It has a distinctive, easy to understand, style, offering help on all aspects of riding and enjoying scooters and mopeds, from choosing the machine to maintenance and dealing with mechanical troubles.
The chapters on clothing and learning to ride add further interest, with a complete set of photographs taken during a riding course given jointly by the RAC and Auto-Cycle union at Crystal Palace.
The book measures approx. 5’’x7 ½”, with 134 pages and numerous illustrations, diagrams and photographs. The period advertisements will also be of particular interest, as they relate entirely to these super little machines. Altogether, the ideal purchase for any owner or enthusiast.
